iPourIt Releases Second Annual Report of the Nation’s Top Beers and Wines Poured Through Its Self-Pour Beverage Dispense Technology

Lake Forest, Calif. (October 11, 2019) – The self-pour beverage dispense technology company iPourIt has released its Annual Top Beers and Wines report for 2019 from over 57.7 million ounces of product and 180 iPourIt operator locations. Since 2012, iPourIt has poured over 155 million ounces, that of which consists of 94% beer.

As part of iPourIt’s innovative technology and features, they capture key data, including products poured, ounces poured, and patron demographics. iPourIt’s report of the top beers and wines poured through its self-serve beverage dispense between September 2018 and August 2019, provides key insights for operators and brewers. One being that operators that choose not to have national domestic brands on tap, benefit from offering a craft house brand. For instance, several operators who utilize the iPourIt technology pour beer that is brewed and branded specifically for them, such as Hoppin’ with Prosecco, Pinhouse with Bubbly, and AleWorx with Cali Common.

Repeating the trend from the previous year, the two beers that top the list are Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Bud Light and MillerCoors’ Coors Light. However, with a highly saturated craft beer market, Bud Light and Coors Light only account for 1.8% of products poured through the self-serve system. Over the twelve-month period, iPourIt’s self-serve draft system poured over 57.7 million ounces of beer or 27,700 barrels. Looking at wine, iPourIt’s system poured over 96,300 bottles.

iPourIt technology allows patrons to pour as little or as much as they want, giving them the ability to try a wide selection of beers at an affordable price. The average female patron pours 18.84 ounces per visit, spending an average of %10.92, with the top three products being Bud Light, Coors Light, and Ace Pineapple Cider. Male patrons poured an average of 25.27 ounces per visit, spending an average of $12.83 with the top three products being Coors Light, Bud Light, and Modelo Especial.
