If you’ve been to The Hub Stadium in Novi, you already know it’s not your average bar. It’s 70,000 square feet of pure energy packed with football bowling, axe throwing, ice curling, mega darts, golf simulators, and a full-service restaurant and bar all under one massive roof.
And now, The Hub Stadium just added another reason to stay a little longer (and have a lot more fun): a brand-new iPourIt self-pour tap wall.
Installed in August, 2025, the 50-tap wall lets guests pour their own drinks with a quick wristband swipe. It’s loaded with 40 beers, four wines, a few craft cocktails, and even a nitro cold brew tap. Basically, it’s freedom in liquid form – no waiting, no wondering where your server went, just you and your perfect pour.
A Better Way To Serve (And Be Served)
The idea for the tap wall started after The Hub Stadium’s owner tried self-pour tech at another Michigan spot and instantly knew it belonged here. With hundreds of guests coming through for events, leagues, and parties, the system made perfect sense.
“We wanted to enhance the guest experience and give people more control over what they drink and when,” said Nick Ellis, Marketing Manager at The Hub Stadium. “Customers love sampling craft cocktails and trying something new without waiting for a bartender. It’s fun, fast, and adds a unique element to our events.”
The install was a total team effort. The Hub crew built the wall themselves, a local contractor handled the lines, and the iPourIt team provided hands-on support to bring it all to life. In just a few weeks, the wall was up, staff were trained, and guests were pouring.
A Crowd Favorite From Day One
The tap wall has quickly become the star of the show for walk-ins and private events alike. Staff can activate wristbands right from the host stand so guests can pour what they want when they want it.
It’s also been a huge operational win. On busy nights and corporate events (think 20 to 800 people), the self-pour setup keeps drinks flowing and lines short. At one 400-person event, the tap wall brought in several thousand dollars in extra beverage sales without needing any extra bartenders.
To kick things off, The Hub offered half-off tap wall pricing for the first month. Needless to say, guests showed up ready to sip and sample. Since then, the fun has kept flowing with creative seasonal drinks like the Lions Day Blue Margarita, a clear fan favorite.
Smarter Service, Happier Guests at the Hub Stadium
The self-pour wall helps The Hub Stadium learn what guests love most, see which drinks perform best, and cut down on waste while keeping things fun and interactive.
“The Hub Stadium’s Novi location is a perfect example of how self-pour technology fits seamlessly into high-volume entertainment venues,” said Flinn Flexer, CEO at iPourIt. “They’ve created an experience that’s both efficient for their staff and exciting for guests.”
Looking Ahead with the Hub Stadium
As the holiday season ramps up, The Hub Stadium is preparing for one of its busiest times of the year, with 20 to 30 private and corporate events booked every day. The self-pour setup is already a crowd-pleaser for groups looking to add something interactive, easy, and memorable to their gatherings.
With rave reviews and smooth operations, The Hub team is already planning what’s next, and it’s safe to say the taps won’t stop pouring anytime soon.
