Hops & Sessions, the First Self-Pour Tap Room in Livermore, Opened July 2018
LAKE FOREST, CA – October 1, 2018 – iPourIt increases its lead in the market with the opening of Hops & Sessions, the first and only self-serve tap house in Livermore, Cal.
Hops & Sessions has had a successful summer since opening this July with over 350,000 ounces poured. It is the first self-serve taproom using iPourIt self-serve technology in Livermore. iPourIt installed a beer wall consisting of 30 self-serve taps.
Co-owners, as well as father and son team, Tyke and Marc Marasigan, developed the business plan in early 2017. With extensive experience in bar and restaurant operations, Tyke knew they had to implement a unique concept to differentiate their business. Tyke and Marc partnered with iPourIt in November 2017.
“Marc and I learned about the data that iPourIt offered and how it was unique to the self-serve market. We were convinced iPourIt and the Hops & Sessions concept, together, would be a sure success!” says Tyke.
Hops & Sessions has received a lot of positive feedback from the community. Located in the heart of downtown Livermore, Hops & Sessions sees a lot of daytime and nighttime traffic. They’re food menu and the atmosphere is family-friendly and welcomes all ages! Since opening, a patron pours an average of 21.8 ounces per visit. Patrons can sample any beer or wine of their choice, avoid waiting in lines at a bar and create their own fun experience with friends and family.
The self-pour taproom has a unique take on bar food with shareables and entrees, including Churros with House-made Fried Ice Cream, Sweet Sriracha Wings, the Sausage Platter, gourmet burgers, and more. They also have an open floor plan with plenty of seating, and several TV’s for sports and entertainment.
